GUEST BEDROOM
The walls in this room are actually in pretty good shape. There's a reason. At some paint a texture was sprayed all over the walls and ceiling. Probably to cover plaster cracks and repairs. Since these walls are in pretty good condition, I'm going to to some minor patching and repaint.

Phase 2 will consists of refreshing the window trim and baseboards.

I'm not even changing out the ceiling light. We think it's probably original to the house.
It's is an Art Nouveau Polychrome 5 bulb flush mount by Virden and is part of the Aldersyde line. You can still see the red flowers and green leaves. There's little doubt it's been hanging there for close to 100 years.
