LIBRARY
Day 1
There was a lot of plaster damage to these walls. Years of neglect and an old water leak had caused the plaster to pull away from the lath.
Damage like in the above photos was throughout this room, so it took time and patience to get the walls nice and smooth.
PAINT

SHERWIN WILLIAMS
Greenblack - Hi-Gloss Finish
I started by sanding the old finish off the paned double doors and then repainting it with this beautiful black from Sherwin Williams
For the paint color in this room there is a nod to the old green library lights. We also needed to pick something that went well with the color in the formal living room because it is visible when entering from the front door.
We chose Talipot Palm SW 6726 by Sherwin Williams with a flat finish.

As with all of the rooms, the decor will be changed out over the coming months and years to fit the room rather than using things we already had to fill up the space. More decorating still needs to happen in here and... as always... we're on the hunt for a perfect rug.
